The Underground Palace
The Underground Palace gives invisible forces a place to be felt.
It turns electromagnetic forces into a virtual environment shaped by material, sound, and ritual—inviting visitors to approach, interpret, and inhabit the unseen.

Initial Idea
Make invisible forces tangible.
The project began with a simple question: how might forces we normally ignore become something we can sense? Everyday objects became starting points for experiments that translated the unseen into spatial and emotional form.
Narrative Scenario
Let the unseen unfold as a ritual.
The experience unfolds across four scenes instead of a single explanation. Through atmosphere, gesture, and repetition, visitors gradually assemble the meaning of a hidden palace.

Design Development
Give an invisible world material presence.
With the narrative in place, 3D studies tested how surfaces, openings, and scale could make a digital world feel architectural. Sound extended that architecture beyond the frame, turning distance and absence into part of the ritual.

Final Outcome
Let feeling come before explanation.
The final work brings image, sound, animation, and spatial suggestion into one narrative environment. The palace remains partially hidden, leaving interpretation—and the visitor’s own sense of discovery—as part of the experience.
Reflection
Let the medium shape the experience.
Working on The Underground Palace taught me that an installation is not just a story placed in space. The medium itself—sound, time, distance, and atmosphere—changes how the story can be felt and understood.
